The McCracken County Public School District has won a “What Parents Want Award” from SchoolMatch, an educational research and database service firm that specializes in rating schools. This is the third consecutive year that the district has won the award.
Paducah Tilghman High School, known for outstanding academics, fine arts, and extra- curricular activities, offers sixteen Advanced Placement courses on one campus, as well as opportunities to participate in award-winning athletics, speech, fine arts, and civic opportunities.
Academic excellence is a tradition in Paducah Public Schools, the independent school district created by the citizens of Paducah in 1864. That tradition is a source of pride, hence our motto: Academic Excellence, Tradition and Pride.
